This June, Secto Design joins fellow Finnish design companies Nikari and Woodnotes at 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen.
Presented under this year's theme, Make This Moment Matter, the festival invites visitors and exhibitors alike to reflect on a timely question: in a world of mass production and constant novelty, do we really need another design?
For Secto Design, Nikari and Woodnotes, the answer lies not in creating more, but in creating meaning. Though each company works in a different field, all three share a commitment to thoughtful design, responsible production and natural materials. Their products are made to endure – both physically and aesthetically – offering a quieter alternative to fast-moving trends and disposable consumption.
The joint exhibition brings together lighting, furniture and textiles rooted in Finnish craftsmanship and local manufacturing. Visitors will discover designs created to be lived with for years, developing character and relevance over time.
Alongside a selection of Secto Design favourites, the exhibition will also mark the first appearance of the newest member of one of Secto Design's most beloved product lines. Further details will be revealed during the festival.
