The iF Design Award, presented by iF International Forum Design GmbH, is a globally recognized mark of excellence that has celebrated outstanding design for over 70 years. Kumulo stood out in the Product – Lighting category, selected from nearly 11,000 entries across 66 countries. This achievement underscores our dedication to creating both aesthetically and physically enduring, sustainable lighting solutions.
In addition, Kumulo was awarded in the first edition of the Top of Design Awards, presented by Marie Claire Maison, a leading French magazine dedicated to interior design and lifestyle. This award honors furniture and objects exemplifying exceptional craftsmanship and high-end design, celebrating creations that harmoniously blend elegance and innovation.
Designed by architect Seppo Koho, Kumulo draws inspiration from the undulating forms of cumulus clouds and snow-crowned trees, creating a captivating interplay of light and form. Handmade from locally sourced PEFC-certified Finnish birch by skilled artisans in our Heinola factory, Kumulo embodies our commitment to sustainable materials and expert craftsmanship.
