Secto Design returns to HIX LDN to present its latest pendant lamp, Adilo, together with a selection of its classic wooden luminaires.
This year, the Finnish lighting brand also unveils The Essence of Finland, a sculptural installation created with Conran and Partners, exploring the relationship between light, craftsmanship and nature. The installation – conceived by Senior Designer Amy Blight of Conran and Partners and handcrafted by Secto Design’s artisans in Finland – invites visitors to experience the calm interplay of light and material.
The new pendant lamp by industrial designer and wood artisan Ilkka Kauppinen, Adilo, is handmade in Heinola, Finland, from PEFC-certified birch. It combines Secto Design’s architectural precision with an inventive fold-out structure — transforming from a flat form into a sculptural pendant in a single motion.
Selected classics by architect and designer Seppo Koho will also be showcased – elegant, enduring pieces that bring natural warmth and atmosphere to contemporary hospitality spaces.
