In April 2026, Secto Design will return to Architect@Work Munich as the event’s official lighting partner. The Finnish lighting company will illuminate the central bar area of the trade fair, creating a warm focal point within the exhibition.
At stand 52, Secto Design will present two new wooden lighting designs selected for the fair’s curated exhibition: the Kumulo pendant lamp and the Adilo pendant lamp.
Designed by architect Seppo Koho, Kumulo features a cloud-like form made from precisely shaped birch slats, producing softly diffused light and a sculptural presence for architectural interiors.
The Adilo pendant lamp, designed by industrial designer Ilkka Kauppinen, introduces a flat-pack concept to wooden lighting. Made from ultra-thin birch plywood, the luminaire unfolds from a flat disc into a spherical form during installation.
Both luminaires are handmade in Finland from PEFC-certified Finnish birch, combining sustainable materials with long-lasting design.
Following Munich, Secto Design will also exhibit at Architect@Work Vienna and Berlin later in 2026.
