Secto Design lamps are currently exhibited at the City Museum of Heinola.
The director of the museum Riitta Koskinen is delighted by the fact the globally best-recognized modern Finnish lights are manufactured in the home town of the museum:
- We are pleased with this connection and it was only natural to choose the lamps as part of the museum's current exhibition. Secto Design lights represent the values we want to highlight too. The design by Seppo Koho is sculptural and timeless, it lasts from decade to another. The lights are ecologically manufactured of Finnish birch and made here in Heinola. The city of Heinola is proud to be presenting these internationally well-known lights and their history as part of the current exhibitions.
The museum is also exhibiting the work of the textile designer Johanna Gullichsen.
