An exhibition called "Three aspects of light" is currently running at the City Museum of Heinola. The Secto Design lights are presenting the modern time. The two other aspects are Gustavian light and oil lamps, of which there are an unique collection to be explored at the main hall of the museum.
The director of the museum Riitta Koskinen is delighted by the fact the globally best-recognized modern Finnish lights are manufactured in the home town of the museum:
- We are pleased with this connection and it was only natural to choose the lamps as part of the museum's current exhibition. Secto Design lights represent the values we want to highlight too. The design by Seppo Koho is sculptural and timeless, it lasts from decade to another. The lights are ecologically manufactured of Finnish birch and made here in Heinola. The city of Heinola is proud to be presenting these internationally well-known lights and their history as part of the current lighting themed exhibition.
