Euroluce Milan is a biennial event devoted to excellence in the world of lighting. Secto Design is proud to have been attending this high-end international lighting event, celebrating its 28th edition this year, already since 2011.

Secto Design brought the new suspension solution to Euroluce 2015: Varsi 1000. The new adjustable suspension arm already caught a lot of positive attention at the Stockholm Furniture fair in February and we were excited to now show it in Milan. With the arm the already classic Secto Design pendants can be used in a fresh and inventive way. The wall mounted suspension arm enables placing of the classic pendants Secto, Octo, Puncto, Victo and Kontro in a space where ceiling suspension is not an option. The length of the arm is adjustable from 130 cm up to 230 cm and the arm turns 180 degrees, which makes it nice and convenient to change the location of the lamp. The suspension arm is made of powder painted steel.

Varsi 1000 was not the only novelty at the Secto Design stand in Milan. In addition, we were thrilled to present prototypes of two brand new models! The new petite wall and table lights share the same feeling as the traditional Secto collection, only in a smaller size. Both new lights are adjustable in all possible ways - they turn gently without limits giving you light where you need it the most. Naturally, they use energy efficient LED light bulbs.

We were also very pleased for the fact that an impressive amount of over a hundred Secto Design lamps were located in hall 05, at the stand of the Italian furniture company Flexform (A09-C04). Quality, hand-craftsmanship, local production and durability are examples of the values both Secto Design and Flexform share. What a perfect match of Italian furniture and Finnish lighting!
